There is nothing sweeter than a smile on the face of a sick child. That’s why this Spring, all across the country, people are putting on their aprons, taking out their rolling pins and dusting off their recipe books – to help raise urgently needed funds for sick children in Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly hospitals.
Our 6th Class decided to get involved in this amazing, nationwide fundraiser and hosted their very own Bake Sale! The girls from both 5th and 6th Class, as well as some staff members, spent lots of time baking all kinds of delicious treats. On the 29th of March the 6th Class girls transformed their classroom into a cake shop and invited all the other classes in the school to come and purchase some treats. The Bake Sale was a great success and was raised for a fantastic cause.
